In regards to infrastructure spending, and as I have mentioned in other postings before, money and the economy is whatever we make it. The fact that the democrats are now in charge and the republicans in the minority, at least in our current government shouldn’t really make a difference. What should matter is what “we the people” want and how it affects our future and everyone else.
Now let’s suppose the government was a business, which it is and should be considered as such. Now let’s suppose the president is the chairman of the board and trying to make his business run as fast as far and efficiently as possible. Simply put we all know that current thinking seems to dictate money makes the world or at least the economy move and in that case the democrat’s infrastructure proposal is really too small. And with all the screwed up corrupted thinking in our government as it is, they should have come out with a 10 trillion-dollar proposal and then they would have compromised to 5 trillion. Perhaps they are smarter than they look and did it to promote dialog and are really thinking ahead using the latest AI to help make decisions but you don’t believe that and neither do I.
The main point is, the economy is whatever we say it is provided everyone else believes and goes along with it, which is definitely not the case at least in our current form of government and according to the media. The problem is our government is an outdated form of democracy and we are all starting to realize that but I digress. Once we forget about all the problems within our “Current form of government” the main question becomes, is our government trying to hold back our economy or let it grow?
Now in this day and age with all the controls and statistics not to mention technology we have, claiming that infusing more money into our Economies won’t work or we “might have inflation” is patently ridiculous. Not to mention if we don’t like what they are spending it on we just stop payment take the money back and kick the bums to the curb or something like that. All I can say is it sure seems pretty straight forward to me so what is the real problem will someone please tell me who is in charge around here anyway?
