Jury selection begins Monday in the trial of Derek Chauvin, the former Minneapolis police officer accused of killing George Floyd, in what will be one of Minnesota’s highest-profile trials ever. Chauvin, who was recorded on video kneeling on Floyd’s neck for several minutes, is charged with second-degree murder and manslaughter.
The Dallas Cowboys answered the offseason’s largest looming question with a simple announcement Monday. Dallas announced Monday the franchise has agreed to terms on a new contract with franchise quarterback Dak Prescott. NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Prescott signed a four-year, $160 million deal to stay in Dallas.
