Let me rephrase what I meant all police or Online neighborhood monitors will be required to live in the neighborhood they monitor and patrol. A few other requirements will be they will also have to have an internet connection and take all required courses in person and online. There would only be a few exceptions for example you lived just a few blocks from the actual neighborhood, that’s it. If you live in the neighborhood and you are interested and actually care it really shouldn’t be a problem. If you are willing to actually help and protect people instead of getting there after the fact you might be able to get the job. BTW you could be a black person in an all-white neighborhood but as long as you live there and are willing to abide by our oaths and simple rules you may qualify for the job. Good Luck.
