Ann Bowdan has been with the station since August 1997, as a reporter, an anchor and medical specialist. Currently, Ann’s main direction is reporting on the unsolved crimes in Louisville and surrounding areas and listening to the voices of those whose lives have been changed by crime.
Ann grew up in Lexington, Ky., but enjoys Louisville’s diversity and big-city feel. She says the best part of her job is being able to meet people throughout the community and to inform viewers about what’s going on in their community that could change their lives.
She lists interviews with Woody Harrelson and Evander Holyfield as two of the most memorable of her career. But the most touching have been from the survivors of violence and their resilience. Another memorable moment includes having the opportunity to speak in front of 45,000 people at the Billy Graham Crusade when it came to Louisville
