Jason Momoa’s war-chanting ‘Game of thrones’ audition is perfect
Khal Drogo is back from the dead. Well, at least he was on “Saturday Night Live” anyway.
Saturday night’s host Jason Momoa resurrected his popular “Game of Thrones” character during a skit called “Khal Drogo’s Ghost Dojo” on the aptly named Dothraki Public Access, where he and one of his bloodriders (Kenan Thompson) chatted with other characters who have been killed off the popular HBO show.
Hodor (Beck Bennett) is the first guest ghost of the night, but his visit is short because, like on the show, his vocabulary is pretty limited to saying “Hodor” or “hold the door.”
The High Sparrow (Pete Davidson) is up next, and he’s just glad that he made it to heaven.
“So glad I gave up sex for 50 years,” the High Sparrow says.
Khal Drogo is the in the same place, but he says his experience was a little different: “I sex when I want, whenever I want. Many, many partners.”
“And we both ended up in the same heaven,” the High Sparrow responds. “Cool, almost makes you question religion.”

“If this man wants to fight, I’ll give him what he wants,” Momoa’s Khal Drogo says about Brienne, a woman.
“Man? Wow, you have a lot to learn about identity politics,” Gardener’s Brienne replies.
“You’re right, Khal needs to learn from Khal mistakes or I’ll never win Oscar – I’ll never host Oscar,” Drogo says.
Thompson emphasizes the exchange, commenting: “Wow, what a teachable moment.”
Time for our final guest on Khal Drogo’s Ghost Dojo – please welcome King Joffrey. #SNL
Of course, the Ghost Dojo wouldn’t be complete without the dead King Joffrey (Kate McKinnon), also known as “the worst, everybody’s glad he’s dead.”
“Let them boo me, I love it,” McKinnon’s Joffrey says.
“Catch me outside,” Joffrey continues. “They simply cannot handle all of this. I feed off the haters”
Suddenly, the Dojo turns into an episode of “Jerry Springer” or “Maury” when Thompson says, “What if I told you that the woman who poisoned you is here tonight?”
Oleanna Tyrell (Aidy Bryant) pops up, and she’s ready to fight, while the chyron on the screen reads: “She poisoned me” and “Wish I could do it again.”
“I’m going to kill you again Justin Bieber!” the Tyrell matriarch yells during a slapping match with Joffrey.
